Overview
Voidline is a 3D space shooter roguelite where you pilot a salvaged starfighter and survive swarms of enemies in the collapsing "Voidline."
Fly with WASD, aim with the mouse, and cut through enemy ships, bosses, and asteroid fields using boost, dodge, lasers, and rockets. Each run you pick up upgrades to evolve your ship, and the deeper you go, the faster, harder, and more chaotic it gets.
In a word, it's a game that might hook you if you love Star Fox. As a roguelite, the fun lies in searching for the optimal build.
Note: this title is in Early Access, with about 6–12 more months of development planned.
Why it's worth playing
🚀 Direct ship control with a Star Fox feel
The core of this game's combat is piloting the starfighter directly.
Fly, dive, boost, and dodge while firing lasers and rockets. Enemy ships, bosses, and asteroid fields all pressure your movement, and you slip through with sharp piloting. If you love space shooters where you control your own ship, this feel will land for you.
🧩 Search for the "optimal build" with 100+ upgrades
There are over 100 upgrades to pick up over the course of a single run.
Lasers, rockets, beams, flak, mines, drones, EMP, orbital weapons — how you combine these decides your build's direction. Searching for the optimal build is itself the fun of this roguelite.
🔥 The grind of 12 ships × 5 difficulty levels
There are 12 ship frames, each with a different stat profile.
Difficulty ranges across five levels from Easy to Hell. The stages shift too — Earth orbit, the Asteroid Belt, Halo Ring, and Deep Space. With two modes, "Endless Drift" (score survival) and "Sanctuary Expedition" (objective-based), you can dig in at a pace that fits your skill.
About Early Access
This title is released in Early Access, and the developer expects around 6–12 months of development ahead.
Even now you can play two modes, 12 ships, and 100+ upgrades, but content may be added or adjusted in future updates. If you'd rather wait for the finished version, adding it to your wishlist and watching for updates is a good move.
